So after the 1st look at the Java stack trace, I tried to run the installer with a different JDK. Turns out I had a couple of java.rmi.ConnectException (Connection refused) on the server so I removed all the executables with a JDK-8 (JDK-11 worked fine), reinstalled the JDK-8 and ran the installer with version 1.8.0_281. After the installer started, it was stuck at 0.5 MB and it was stuck for hours. So I turned on jstack and found a Windows DLL failed to load exception in the process. Then I did a search on the server and found that the installer was pointing to java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.261.b09.fc25.x86_64 from the Oracle JDK 1.8.0_281 but the server had only java-1.8.0-openjdk-11.0.2.11.fc25.x86_64 installed. JDK-11 didn't point to anything. After that I can't find any solution to this issue and I'm now stuck with the installer for a couple of days.
